Quintiesse Linara Pendant Light

The Quintiesse Linara Pendant Light is a linear ceiling pendant from the Linara range by Quintiesse, designed to bring considered, architectural presence to dining rooms and kitchen islands. Its elongated, cage-like profile pairs industrial matte-black slats with natural brass detailing for a contemporary mid-century twist.

The pendant’s form is defined by numerous thin, vertical metal slats that create a strong geometric texture and high-contrast mixed-metal aesthetic. The Linara is available with the matte-black slatted shade and natural brass internal frame and fittings, emphasising the jewellery-like brass accents against the dark outer skin.

Construction is purposeful: the internal frame, light sockets, downrods and rectangular ceiling canopy are finished in natural brass, while the shade is formed from evenly spaced matte-black metal slats. The fitting is suspended by two vertical downrods which connect to the canopy via small metal loops, and the segmented downrods allow installation height to be adjusted to suit the room.

Light is delivered from five sockets arranged in a linear row inside the slatted shade. The open, slatted design filters light to produce rhythmic shadows and starburst patterns on surrounding surfaces while permitting good heat dissipation and straightforward bulb replacement. Tall tubular or Edison-style filament bulbs are recommended to complete the look.

Practical notes: the Linara is supplied with multiple stems in varying lengths to customise installation height. It accepts 5×E27 lamps up to 60W (or LED equivalents); bulbs and a dimmer switch are not included. The pendant is dimmable when used with a compatible external dimmer. A 2-year manufacturer warranty is provided.
