Is this wall light suitable for bathrooms or outdoors?
No. The fitting is IP20 rated, so it is intended for interior, dry-zone use only.

How is the glass secured and how is the light installed?
The circular backplate mounts flush to the wall and a short horizontal arm projects the lamp holder. The glass is secured to the ribbed, threaded lamp holder via a screw-on assembly.
