Marset Scotch Club Pendant

The Marset Scotch Club Pendant is a pendant ceiling light from the Scotch Club range, designed by Xavier Mañosa for Marset. Its defining silhouette is a truncated spherical, low‑poly shade that reads as architectural and modern while remaining quietly restrained.

The faceted geometry of the shade is intentional: polygonal planes create an interplay of highlights and shadow across the outer shell. The open base gives a clear downward focus and the contrasting interior adds a refined counterpoint. The fitting is offered in multiple variants.

The shade is a ceramic diffuser with an interior finished in either brilliant white enamel or a warm gold. The canopy is ceramic and the suspension uses a fabric-covered electrical cord. Visually the exterior presents as a matte, dark charcoal shell contrasted by the bright inner surface.

The open-bottom aperture directs light downward for task-oriented pools or accent illumination. The reflective metallic lining increases perceived output and produces a warm glow, while the faceted exterior interacts with ambient light to add subtle surface texture.
