The Marset Pleat Box Pendant is a sculptural ceramic pendant designed by Xavier Mañosa for Marset. The design applies digitally conceived fabric creases to ceramic, producing an elongated, tapered shade that provides controlled, downward-directed illumination from a suspended position.

The shade’s upper section features deep vertical pleats that mimic gathered fabric while the lower half finishes as a smooth cylinder with a clean, open base. The lamp is offered in a wide range of exterior finishes and is available with interior options in brilliant white enamel or 24‑carat gold for different light qualities.

Handcrafted in ceramic (with plaster cues in the collection), the fitting uses a ceramic canopy and a fabric electrical cord. The pendant’s listed dimension is 200 x 26 x 11.5 cm and it celebrates craft alongside a considered industrial finish.

The open-bottom design gives direct task or accent light while the opaque, pleated sides prevent glare. A white enamel interior reflects light to produce a bright, downward glow; the gold interior yields a noticeably warmer effect. The range is offered with integrated LED options at 4.05W and 8W, depending on the variant.
