The Foscarini Plass Table Lamp is a table lamp designed by Luca Nichetto for Foscarini. Its large ovoid form draws on the image of a Venetian glass pearl, reinterpreted in a modern material and scale. The piece is intended to provide both diffused and direct ambient illumination on flat surfaces such as tables, sideboards and desks.

The form is a single, seamless hollow diffuser with pronounced vertical ribbing that scatters light and reduces glare. Plass is available in two appearances: Light Blue and Grey, each showing subtle surface irregularities that reference hand‑made glass.

The diffuser is manufactured by rotational moulding in transparent polycarbonate, allowing generous hollow forms without welding. A low‑profile circular base and internal mount are finished in brushed aluminium, and the lamp is supplied with a transparent electrical cable.

An internal metal mount positions the light source so the translucent body produces a soft, resonant glow; the vertical fluting creates a rhythmic play of light and shadow. The lamp is rated IP20 and designed for indoor use.
