Flos Glo-Ball Floor Lamp, designed by Jasper Morrison for Flos, is a standing floor lamp that pairs a hand-blown opaline glass diffuser with a slender matte black stem. The distinctive squashed-sphere diffuser and clean profile make it a purposeful source of ambient light for living rooms and lounges.

The design uses a flattened spherical opal diffuser to deliver even, diffused illumination with minimal shadowing. The lamp is offered in two appearances: Silver and Matt Black, allowing it to sit quietly within a variety of interior schemes.

Construction combines a flashed opaline, hand-blown glass diffuser secured by a die-cast threaded ring nut with an alodine-plated finish, a die-cast aluminium diffuser support and a painted high-thickness steel stem and base. The floor lamp sits on a thin, wide circular base designed for stability.

Light is delivered as soft, ambient illumination through the opal glass, producing a balanced glow rather than a sharply directed beam. The large diffuser surface reduces glare and is well suited to mid- to upper-level room lighting where an even atmosphere is required.

An electronic dimmer is fitted on the cable to regulate brightness; lamps are not included. The fitting uses an E27 lamp holder (check lamp choice for dimming compatibility). This product is rated IP40 and intended for indoor use. Flos supplies a two-year manufacturer warranty.
