Elstead Canterbury Outdoor Wall Lantern

Elstead Canterbury Outdoor Wall Lantern is a traditional outdoor wall light from the Canterbury range, designed to provide considered exterior illumination for vertical wall surfaces. The design references classic British lanterns and is intended for sheltered exterior locations where IP43 protection is appropriate.

The lantern head is a four-sided form with a shallow pyramidal roof and a slightly tapered body. Each glass face is divided by single horizontal and vertical window bars which, together with the elegant scrollwork on the arm, create a composed, heritage aesthetic.

Construction is die-cast aluminium with a matte black finish and rippled (hammered) glass panes. A slim rectangular backplate and horizontal arm support the lantern; the arm finishes in a decorative upward curl and includes scroll details above and below the support for structural reinforcement and visual balance.

The fitting houses a single internal bulb socket visible through the textured glass; the rippled glass softens and diffuses the lamp to reduce glare while obscuring direct view of the bulb. As a wall-mounted lantern it delivers ambient exterior illumination and works well for porches, entrances and flanking garage doors.

Mounting is via the integrated backplate and arm assembly for secure wall attachment. The product carries an anti-corrosion warranty of five years and is rated IP43, making it suitable for sheltered outdoor locations. Check lamp type and wattage compatibility for your installation requirements.
