Artlite Obus Pendant

The Artlite Obus Pendant is a linear ceiling pendant from Artlite's Obus range. Its two-tone metalwork and part-textured clear glass give a considered, architectural presence suitable for dining tables or kitchen islands.

The design pairs a solid matte-black rectangular inner frame with a delicate, gold-toned outer cage formed from intersecting thin rods. The layered geometric aesthetic is accentuated where the outer rods extend beyond their junctions, creating a sculptural silhouette while keeping the overall profile visually balanced.

Construction combines metal frames with four vertically oriented clear glass cylinders that show a hammered or seeded texture. The textured shades provide contrast to the smooth metal lines and introduce a tactile, crafted quality to the fitting.

Light is delivered from four vertical bulb sockets, each encased in its textured glass cylinder. The seeded glass softens and diffuses the emitted light, making the pendant suitable for both ambient and task lighting over a dining table or island. The open-frame layout keeps bulbs accessible for maintenance and replacement.

The fixture is suspended from a matching rectangular ceiling canopy by two black chains; the dual-chain suspension allows adjustment to suit different ceiling heights. The fitting has an IP20 rating and is intended for indoor dry areas. Warranty: 1 year on all Artlite products, with a 5-year extended warranty available for some LED models.
