Micro spot precision system

Specialized micro-spot fixtures with beam angles of 6-10° allow targeting of small works (under 30cm) with minimal spill. Precision aiming and locking mechanisms ensure the tight beam stays on target. Multiple works at different sensitivities can coexist with different illuminance levels.

Easy Mid-Range
Approach Detail

Use micro-spot fixtures with 6-8° beam angles for works under 20cm, 8-10° for works 20-40cm. Position fixtures at appropriate throw distance to achieve desired beam diameter at artwork plane (e.g., 8° beam at 2m throw = 28cm spot). Use locking pan/tilt mechanisms to prevent drift. Specify smooth dimming for level adjustment between works. Consider optical framing accessories for rectangular works. Test with actual works before finalizing positions. Document positions for exhibition reinstallation.

Designer Notes

Render showing small works perfectly isolated in precise light pools, with neighboring works at different (lower) illuminance clearly not affected. Show the precision of the beam edge. Include a detail of the fixture with its aiming mechanism.

Best For
Miniature collections, jewelry and small metalwork, intimate drawings and manuscripts, mixed-sensitivity displays.
