Theatrical spotlight focus

Feature displays deserve theatrical treatment. Very narrow beam angles, high output, and dramatic contrast ratios create the 'starring' effect that makes certain products demand attention above all others.

Medium Premium
Approach Detail

Use narrow-beam spotlights (10-15°) aimed at hero products from 45° angles. Achieve 5:1 minimum ratio to surrounding ambient (ideally 10:1). Consider gobo projectors for logo/pattern effects. Multiple fixtures per display allow dimension and prevent flat lighting. Color accent on backdrop optional.

Key Fixtures

Narrow-beam high-output spotlights, gobo projectors, color-changing accent, dimming controls

HOW TO LIGHT IT: Primary - 2-3 narrow spots (30W each, 3000K, 10-12°) from different angles creating dimensional lighting. Target 2500+ lux on product. Surrounding ambient reduced to 250 lux (10:1 ratio). Optional backdrop color wash. Consider motorized rotation for jewelry/watches.
