Masiero Sound Linear Pendant, designed by Giovanni Battista Gianola, is a refined ceiling-mounted pendant that reads as both architectural object and practical light. The example shown here has a warm brushed brass metallic finish and is intended to deliver direct illumination over a dining table, kitchen island or conference surface.

The design arranges five cylindrical drum shades along a central horizontal bar, set at staggered heights to create a rhythmic, architectural silhouette. The linear configuration provides multiple, evenly spaced light points to balance illumination across a long rectangular plane.

Construction is purposeful and minimal: substantial, thick-walled cylindrical shades sit on a slender bar, with two thin, rigid downrods suspending the whole assembly from the ceiling. The finish is uniform across shades, rod and bar, emphasising a seamless, monochromatic aesthetic.

Integrated LED light sources (40W) are housed within the open-bottom drums to deliver controlled downward light suited to task and dining applications. The open bases reduce glare when placed above tabletops and allow clear, direct light on the work or dining surface.
