We are looking for a Lighting Sales Consultant who can build relationships, understand client needs and guide people towards the right lighting products and services. This role is remote and open to candidates based in Europe or South Africa.

What you'll do

• Speak with new and existing clients to understand their project requirements.
• Introduce Lighting Design Online's products, services and design support in a clear, helpful way.
• Manage opportunities from first enquiry through to quotation and order, with technical support from the wider team.
• Build lasting relationships with homeowners, interior designers, architects, contractors and trade customers.
• Keep clear notes, follow up reliably and spot opportunities for repeat business.

What we're looking for

• Sales experience in lighting, interiors, furniture, kitchens, bathrooms, electrical products or a related design-led sector.
• Confidence speaking with clients remotely by phone, video call and email.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage your own pipeline.
• Organised, self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Based in Europe or South Africa.

We are looking for a Business Development Consultant to help Lighting Design Online build relationships with design professionals, contractors, retailers and project businesses that need lighting products, design input or remote technical support.

This is a flexible remote role for someone who enjoys opening doors, building trust and turning conversations into commercial opportunities. Candidates can be based in Europe or South Africa and must speak English fluently.

What you'll do

• Identify and approach potential partners, trade clients and project-led businesses.
• Explain how Lighting Design Online can support their projects with products, lighting design and technical advice.
• Develop relationships with interior designers, architects, electrical contractors, showrooms, developers and fit-out teams.
• Qualify opportunities and work with our team to turn them into quotations, projects or ongoing partnerships.
• Track conversations, follow up consistently and help shape new business activity.

What we're looking for

• Experience in business development, account management or consultative sales.

We are looking for a Lighting Designer to support residential, commercial and trade projects remotely. This role suits someone who can turn plans, briefs and client requirements into clear lighting layouts, specifications and practical design recommendations.

You will work with our sales and technical team to help clients understand what should go where, why it works and which products are suitable. The role is remote and open to candidates based in Europe or South Africa. Fluent English is essential.

What you'll do

• Create lighting layouts, marked-up plans, schedules and specification notes from drawings, PDFs, CAD files, photos and written briefs.
• Recommend suitable luminaires, lamping, beam angles, colour temperature, controls and installation approaches.
• Prepare or review calculations where needed, using appropriate lighting design software and sound technical judgement.
• Support residential, hospitality, retail, workplace and exterior lighting projects at different levels of detail.
• Collaborate remotely with sales colleagues, clients and trade partners to answer design and technical questions.
• Keep design outputs clear, accurate and commercially practical.

What we're looking for

• Professional lighting design experience, ideally across residential and/or commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of light quality, glare, beam control, colour temperature, CRI, dimming, IP ratings and practical installation constraints.
• Ability to work from architectural drawings and communicate design intent clearly.
• Experience with tools such as AutoCAD, Dialux, Relux, Revit or similar is useful.
• Good product knowledge and the ability to balance design quality with budget and availability.
• Organised, detail-focused and comfortable working remotely to agreed deadlines.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Based in Europe or South Africa.
