Masiero Honice Linear Suspension, designed by Oriano Favaretto for Masiero, is a linear pendant that pairs a refined metal band with translucent natural stone panels. The composition reads as a modern, architectural centrepiece intended for overhead installation above dining tables, kitchen islands or conference tables.
The fitting features a horizontal metal band in a brushed gold/brass tone that encloses vertically oriented rectangular stone slabs. The stone panels are arranged in a staggered, asymmetrical rhythm of varying widths and heights, creating a skyline-like silhouette that balances geometry and organic form.
Each translucent slab is natural stone — for example onyx or alabaster — showing cream, tan and brown veining. These materials act as the primary light-diffusing element, so every Honice suspension will be unique because of the stone’s inherent patterns and texture.
An integrated light source within the metal band backlights the stone panels, producing a warm, diffused ambience and a wide, linear spread of light. The design controls direct glare by using the stone as a soft diffuser, making it suitable where balanced, atmospheric illumination is required.
The Luminaire is suspended from the ceiling on thin, adjustable aircraft cables; an electrical power cord is visible in the product image and may require routing or concealment by the installer. The Honice is IP65 rated. It is offered in three sizes: Small, Medium and Large. For region-specific wiring, drivers and datasheets consult the technical documentation.
