STORY

The Visual Comfort Walker Wall Sconce, from the Walker collection designed by Kate Spade, pairs a classic drum silhouette with tailored detailing. The fixture combines a linen fabric shade and textured metalwork to provide decorative, diffused ambient light for interior spaces.

The design centres on an off-white cylindrical drum shade trimmed with wide contrast edging that nods to preppy tailoring. The Walker sconce is offered in Light Cream, Gild & Black Trim and Burnished Silver Leaf appearances to suit both contemporary and traditional interiors.

Construction pairs a fabric (linen) shade with a metal support assembly. The wall mount is a flat circular backplate with a small horizontal arm and a slender vertical stem that rests on a shallow, saucer-like bobeche; the metal finish has a mottled, hand-applied quality rather than a smooth polish.

The drum shade softens and diffuses light evenly, making this sconce appropriate for ambient or accent lighting in hallways, living rooms and bedrooms. When installing multiple fittings, allow a minimum of 8–10' (approximately 2.4–3 m) between sconces for a balanced spread of light.
