STORY

The Visual Comfort Vedra Table Lamp, designed by Aerin Lauder for the Vedra range, is a decorative ceramic table lamp inspired by mid-century French ceramics. Its sculpted multi-orb profile and tall drum shade make it suited to bedrooms and living rooms where considered ambient or accent light is required.

The base is formed from three horizontal tiers of raised, hemispherical orbs that create a rhythmic, tactile silhouette. The lamp is offered in two reactive-glaze appearances: Bone Craquelure and Polar Blue Crackle, each showing subtle variation in surface texture and tone.

Constructed from plaster/ceramic, the Vedra base is finished with a reactive crackle glaze that produces fine-lined texture across the surface. Hardware detailing includes a short neck and a small spherical finial in a brass/gold finish, reinforcing the mid-century aesthetic.

Light is delivered from a central E27 lamp and is diffused by a slightly tapered drum shade for soft, even illumination. The design is intended for ambient and accent use; the tall shade relative to the base gives balanced vertical presence and gentle downward spread of light.
