STORY

The Visual Comfort Sottile Pendant by Mick De Giulio is a tiered, architectural ceiling pendant designed to provide deliberate downward illumination. Part of the Sottile range from Visual Comfort, the fitting expresses a minimalist, geometric aesthetic in metal and is intended for interior, dry-zone use.

The pendant's form is a stacked, cylindrical construction made from three stepped sections with a subtle recessed reveal between the main body and the end cap. It is offered in Natural Brass and Nightshade Black, and comes in Extra-Large, Large and Small sizes to suit different scales.

Constructed in metal with a smooth, opaque surface, the Sottile pendant features a slim circular ceiling canopy and a slender suspension cable. The matte finish emphasises the silhouette and gives the fitting a restrained, sculptural presence.

Light is delivered as a directional downlight from the open base of the cylindrical body, producing a focused beam suitable for task illumination or accenting specific areas. A high CRI of 90 helps maintain accurate colour rendition under the light.
