STORY

The Visual Comfort Simon Swing-Arm Wall Light, designed by Ellen DeGeneres, is a decorative swing-arm sconce in metal intended to provide adjustable, directional task illumination. The fitting pairs a high-arching main arm with a secondary articulating arm for a mid-century inspired profile.

The form uses a slim, arched main arm that extends a significant reach from the wall and finishes in a conical, bullet-shaped shade. A secondary articulating arm and a downward-pointing adjustment wand, tipped in a contrasting metal, allow precise positioning. A small toggle switch is integrated into the rectangular backplate for local control.

Construction is metal with a predominantly matte black surface complemented by brushed brass-toned accents at the pivot and handle tip. The shade interior is finished in an off-white/cream tone to help reflect light from the lamp through the wide aperture.
