STORY

The Visual Comfort Rosehill Semi-Flush Ceiling Light, designed by Aerin Lauder, is a decorative indoor luminaire that pairs a wide, shallow glass bowl with restrained metalwork. The white strié glass and scalloped rim give the fixture a floral-inspired silhouette, intended to provide soft ambient illumination in domestic spaces.

Formally the Rosehill reads as a modern interpretation of classic motifs: a scalloped, petal-like edge and a circular canopy echo one another to create balanced proportions. The range is offered in Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass and Polished Nickel, and is available in Small and Large sizes to suit different ceiling heights and room scales.

Construction combines metal and textured glass. The canopy and central stem are metal finished to complement the glass, and a small rounded finial secures the bowl. The strié glass carries a subtle linear texture that adds visual depth and gently softens the light output.

Light is delivered from two internal lamp positions housed within the translucent bowl; the wide opening promotes a broad, even distribution while the slight gap between shade and canopy allows some light to wash the ceiling. This makes the Rosehill suitable as an ambient ceiling light in bedrooms, living rooms, dining areas, hallways, conservatories, kitchens and home offices. The fitting is rated IP20 for indoor use.

The lamp requires two bulbs fitted into the internal sockets; consult the product specification or our team for recommended lamp types and any dimming compatibility. The manufacturer provides a one-year warranty with the product. The semi-flush mounting keeps the fitting close to the ceiling while allowing a soft upward reflection of light.
