STORY

The Visual Comfort Riga Floor Lamp is a floor lamp from the Riga range designed by Aerin Lauder for Visual Comfort. Combining a clear transparent glass stem with hand-rubbed antique brass details and an off-white linen drum shade, it is designed to provide ambient illumination in interior residential and commercial spaces.

Its tall, vertical silhouette and slim glass column create a restrained presence that prioritises light over mass. The Riga is offered in two finishes — Antique Brass and Polished Nickel — and the mixed-material approach bridges traditional warmth and contemporary clarity while the drum shade softens output.

Construction pairs a solid clear glass stem with a flat circular metal base and a matching metal collar and socket assembly in an antique-brass finish. The wide, weighted base ensures stability on a variety of floor surfaces.

The off-white linen drum shade diffuses the internal bulb to reduce glare and deliver even, comfortable ambient illumination. The transparent stem reduces the lamp's visual footprint so it blends into schemes without interrupting sightlines.
