STORY

The Visual Comfort Reve Wall Sconce is a decorative wall sconce from the Reve range, designed by Marie Flanigan for Visual Comfort. The fitting pairs a geometric metal bracket with a suspended cylindrical glass diffuser to deliver considered interior ambient light.

The design uses a tall, rectangular backplate with a right-angled arm and a contrasting two‑tone finish of dark bronze and soft brass, producing an architectural profile and subtle metallic contrast. A clear, wavy glass tube hangs from the arm, giving a floating, pendant-like appearance.

Construction combines layered metal backplates and a domed cap in a soft brass tone with a dark bronze inner plate; the long, textured glass cylinder has a rippled surface and is supported by a visible black cable loop and an L-shaped arm.

The rippled glass refracts and softens the source, producing textured ambient illumination suitable for interior circulation spaces and living areas where atmospheric wall light is needed. The suspended tube helps distance the light source from the wall to reduce direct glare.
