STORY

The Visual Comfort Rega Folded Sconce is an outdoor wall light from the Rega range, designed by Kelly Wearstler for Visual Comfort. Its tall, slender profile and sculptural folded form make it suited to architectural accent lighting on exterior walls.

Formally, the fitting uses a single metal plate folded along a sharp longitudinal seam, producing a shallow V-shaped profile and chevron-pitched top and bottom edges. It is offered in Polished Nickel, Bronze and Antique-Burnished Brass and comes in Medium and Small sizes.

The body is crafted from metal with a brushed, matte appearance and visible vertical grain texture. A hand-applied finish gives a rich, slightly organic surface that contrasts with the clean geometric lines of the sconce.

Light is emitted from a central horizontal recess that conceals the source to reduce glare. The design produces bi-directional illumination, washing the wall both upwards and downwards and creating a subtle gradient that emphasises the folded interior angles. The fixture is intended for vertical mounting on walls, for exterior or interior architectural use.
