Its form is a large spherical globe made from two clear glass hemispheres, held by a prominent horizontal metal band and a distinctive triple-chain suspension that creates a tripod-like silhouette. The Reese is offered in Bronze, Polished Nickel and Satin Brass finishes to suit a range of schemes.

Crafted in metal and restoration glass, the globe uses seeded glass with small air bubbles and irregularities that give the shade a subtle, vintage texture. The metalwork is finished in a uniform dark tone on the pictured item, providing an architectural counterpoint to the delicate glass.
