STORY

The Visual Comfort Precision Pendant Light is a ceiling-mounted pendant from Visual Comfort's Precision range, designed by Kelly Wearstler. Its tiered profile combines a metal upper housing with a large opal glass bowl to deliver calm, downward-focused ambient light suited to bedrooms and other dry interior spaces.

The design balances architectural form with subtle industrial detail: a perforated cylindrical top band sits above a flared metal skirt, which transitions into the oversized schoolhouse-style glass diffuser. The pendant is offered in Bronze and Antique-Burnished Brass finishes.

Construction pairs a metal upper shade and suspension with a translucent white opal glass bowl. The pendant is supplied with a circular metal ceiling canopy and a vertical rod suspension that includes small chain-link details at the connection points.

The large opal glass bowl acts as a diffuser, providing soft, glare-free illumination over a wide area while the perforated top band allows a hint of upward light leakage and assists heat dispersal. The fixture's primary function is downward-focused ambient lighting suitable for bedrooms and other indoor living spaces.
