STORY

The Visual Comfort Parkington Wall Light by Chapman & Myers is a single-light decorative wall sconce from the Parkington range. Its blend of metal and glass references classic library lights while remaining restrained and contemporary, intended for interior use where IP20 protection is suitable.

Formally the sconce pairs a tapered, conical glass shade with an architectural metal mounting. The visible metalwork is offered in Antique-Burnished Brass, Polished Nickel and Bronze. Shade options include White Glass, Antique-Burnished Brass, Clear Glass, Polished Nickel and Bronze.

Built from metal and glass, the fitting has a circular backplate with stepped edges and a horizontal arm that meets a spherical joint before the downward-facing socket. The socket housing carries horizontal moulding details; three knurled thumb screws secure the glass shade to the housing.

The clear shade delivers direct and ambient light while leaving the lamp visible, so decorative or filament-style bulbs are an aesthetic option. The fixture accommodates a single standard-base bulb and is listed for interior spaces (IP20).
