STORY

The Visual Comfort Ori Sconce is a decorative wall light from the Ori range, designed by Kelly Wearstler. The sculptural, faceted form reads as ambient or accent lighting and is intended for interior spaces where considered atmosphere and visual texture are required.

The design combines two joined triangular volumes to create a tall, narrow silhouette with sharp edges and an origami‑like presence. The Ori is offered in Polished Nickel and Bronze; the product imagery shows an Antique‑Burnished Brass finish and clear lined (reeded) glass panels.

Constructed from metal with clear lined glass, the sconce emphasises layered detail. Panels of vertically reeded glass diffuse the internal source while a fine metal mesh layer adds visual depth when illuminated.

The fitting uses a dedicated LED source (9W, 800lm) and projects a soft, even glow through the reeded glass, making it suitable for ambient and accent roles in bedrooms, living rooms and hallways. Note the IP20 rating—intended for dry interior zones; observe bathroom zone restrictions.

Installation notes: height 53.3cm, width 19cm, extension 15.2cm; weight 4.1kg. The Ori is Class I with IP20 protection and requires a smaller outlet box; the mounting plate is concealed behind the geometric frame. Warranty: 1 year.
