STORY

Visual Comfort Nyra Linear Suspension is a linear suspension pendant designed by Sean Lavin for Visual Comfort. The Nyra 60 variation presents layered, wave-shaped acrylic panels set beneath a slim metal frame, intended as a sculptural centrepiece for interior ceilings and well suited to long surfaces such as islands and dining tables.

The design emphasises contrast between a rigid, horizontal metal bar and organic undulating light panels. It is offered in Plated Brass and Nightshade Black finishes, allowing straightforward coordination with Nyra chandeliers and pendants for a considered scheme.

The fixture combines a metal suspension frame with translucent acrylic light-guiding panels to achieve a slim profile and generous, even illumination. The dual-rod suspension and rectangular canopy keep the linear form balanced and level when installed.

Light is delivered by integrated LED panels that use light guide technology to spread illumination across the wave-shaped acrylic surfaces. The specification includes a CRI of 90 and an IP20 rating, making the Nyra suitable for interior dry zones where good colour rendering is required.
