STORY

The Visual Comfort Melange Chandelier is a semi-flush ceiling light from the Melange range, designed by Kelly Wearstler for Visual Comfort. The piece combines an architectural metal frame with thick alabaster discs to deliver decorative interior illumination suited to living spaces, hallways and lower-height ceilings.

Its rigid, geometric form features a central circular canopy with three stepped arms set at right angles, producing an asymmetrical, modernist silhouette that suggests movement. The Melange chandelier is offered in three finishes: Polished Nickel, Bronze and Antique-Burnished Brass.

The frame is metal finished in the chosen option and each light is capped by a substantial circular alabaster disc. The stone shows natural white and off-white tones with subtle grey veining; as a natural material, the veining and tone will vary between fittings.

Light is integrated behind the alabaster discs so the stone acts as a diffuser, producing a soft, ambient glow and a 'floating' visual effect. With three distinct lighting points the chandelier works well as a primary or decorative ceiling light.

The semi-flush configuration makes this fitting appropriate where a pendant would be too low. It carries an IP20 rating and is intended for indoor, dry spaces. Manufacturer warranty is 1 year.
