STORY

The Visual Comfort Lucia Wall Sconce, designed by Julie Neill for the Lucia range, is a decorative interior wall light that combines a tapered white linen shade with a clear crystal tail and metal detailing. Its proportions and finish cues reference modern-traditional interiors while delivering soft ambient illumination.

The form is deliberately vertical: a slim metal stem rises from a squared backplate, finished with a subtle gold-framed detail and an elongated faceted crystal tail beneath the shade. The Lucia is offered in Celadon, Gild, Matt Black and White finishes to suit a range of interior schemes.

Construction pairs a metal backplate and stem with a clear crystal tail and a tapered linen shade. Key dimensions are Height 52.7cm, Width 14cm and Extension 15.2cm; the rectangular backplate measures 9.5cm x 12.1cm and the fitting weighs 1.4 kg. Shade size is approximately 11.4cm x 14cm x 15.9cm.

The fitting uses a single E14 candelabra socket (max 40W) and the linen shade gently diffuses the bulb for ambient, low-glare light. The slim profile and vertical emphasis make the Lucia suitable for narrow walls, flanking mirrors, bedrooms and living spaces where a considered decorative accent is required. Note the product has an IP20 rating and is intended for interior use.

Installation is by direct hardwiring to the wall-mounted backplate; the fitting requires a smaller outlet box. This product is Class I and requires an earth connection. Bulbs are not supplied. Dimming capability depends on the lamp selected and the compatible control used.
