STORY

The Visual Comfort Linger Wall Sconce, designed by Sean Lavin, is a two-light decorative wall sconce from the Linger range. It pairs a slim metal backplate with glass-acrylic cylindrical diffusers and provides upward-directed illumination for interiors including bathrooms, vanities and hallways.

The fixture uses nested cylinders — a clear outer cylinder surrounding a frosted internal diffuser — to create a 'light within a light' effect while keeping a minimal vertical profile. It is offered in Polished Nickel and Natural Brass finishes to suit contemporary schemes.

Construction is centred on a metal backplate and rigid support arms finished in a reflective metal tone, matched to the cylinder assemblies. The clear outer cylinder and frosted inner diffuser are engineered to balance clarity with gentle diffusion.

Light is emitted from the internal diffuser and directed upwards, producing an ambient wall wash with reduced glare. The layered cylinder arrangement softens the source while maintaining a crisp architectural silhouette.

The sconce is designed for hardwired wall mounting; the integrated backplate and visible set screw secure the fitting to its bracket. It has an IP20 rating and is compatible with most dimmers — refer to the Dimming Chart for specific compatibility. Manufacturer warranty: 1 year.
