STORY

The Visual Comfort Linger 12-Light Chandelier, designed by Sean Lavin, is an abstract ceiling chandelier that combines architectural form with ambient performance. Its lightweight, intersecting rod silhouette and multiple light points make it a sculptural focal point in modern living and dining interiors.

The design reads as a geometric, starburst arrangement of straight metal rods that appear to float around a central axis. It is offered in Polished Nickel and Natural Brass finishes, allowing the fixture to be selected to complement cooler or warmer interior palettes.

Constructed from metal with a highly reflective polished metal finish on the visible framework and suspension rod, the Linger emphasises slender linear elements rather than a solid mass. Each rod terminates cleanly at a socket that meets a slim cylindrical diffuser in frosted glass or acrylic, creating a refined junction between materials.

Twelve light points are arranged at varying heights and angles to deliver broad, 360-degree ambient illumination. The cylindrical diffusers are designed to soften and spread light, helping to reduce direct glare, and the specification includes a high colour-rendering index (CRI 90) for accurate colour reproduction.
