STORY

The Visual Comfort Liaison Medium Sconce by Kelly Wearstler is a decorative wall-mounted light that pairs an elongated crackle-glass cylinder with antique-burnished brass details. Designed for interior ambient and accent use, the sconce offers a transitionally modern profile suited to considered domestic and hospitality schemes.

The design features a slim, symmetrical glass tube that runs vertically through a central brass band and is held from a circular backplate. It is available in Bronze and Antique-Burnished Brass and comes in multiple size/variant options to suit different wall proportions.

Metal components are finished in antique-burnished brass while the main shade is a heavily textured crackle glass cylinder. The central brass band functions as the structural clamp and the circular backplate supports the assembly, reflecting the range’s attention to material contrast and craft detail.

Two internal, vertically arranged candle-style lamp holders sit within the glass tube, with one directed upward and one downward. The crackle glass diffuses light, softening glare and creating a fractured, crystalline play of light and shadow that works well for ambient and accent applications, particularly in narrow wall zones or flanking mirrors.

The fitting mounts from a circular backplate; note the product is IP20 and intended for indoor, dry-zone installation only.
