STORY

The Visual Comfort Lancelot Pivoting Wall Light by Aerin Lauder is a bedside reading light that pairs geometric restraint with a living, hand-rubbed antique brass finish. Designed for bedroom task lighting, the fixture combines a broad circular backplate with a slim cylindrical head to deliver focused, downward illumination.

The design balances a large, flat circular canopy against an elongated cylindrical lamp head mounted slightly off-centre, creating a modern, asymmetrical silhouette. The lamp head pivots at a discreet joint so you can direct light precisely where you need it; it is available in Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass.

Made from metal with a subtle brushed, hand-applied surface, the Lancelot has a soft, muted gold tone that reads as considered and non-reflective. The interior of the cylinder is finished in a lighter tone to increase reflection and improve the quality of the downward beam.

The open-bottom cylindrical head delivers a controlled, downward beam ideal for bedside reading or focused task lighting. The pivoting joint lets you aim light without disturbing the room’s overall ambience, providing clear task illumination while keeping surrounding areas softly in shadow.

The Lancelot is designed for hardwired wall mounting and carries an IP20 rating for indoor use.
