STORY

Visual Comfort Kean Wall Sconce by Chapman & Myers is a decorative wall light from the Kean range, crafted in metal and glass and intended to provide ambient or accent illumination. The design references architectural, Art Deco-influenced rhythm while remaining a versatile choice for hallways, dining rooms and living spaces.

The sconce has a semi-cylindrical form formed from multiple vertical clear glass rods arranged in a convex curve. It is offered in Antique-Burnished Brass and Polished Nickel finishes and is available in Small, Medium and Large sizes to suit different scales.

Construction combines solid metal bands and clear glass rods; the rods are secured by metal caps at the top and bottom and the metal bands feature a scalloped or fluted edge that follows the curvature of each rod. Materials are listed as metal and glass.

An internal light source sits behind the glass rod assembly and creates vertical highlights when illuminated. The vertical rods act as a diffuser, scattering light to reduce glare and produce a textured, layered ambience suitable for accent and general mood lighting.
