STORY

The Visual Comfort Kai Pendant is a pendant ceiling light from the Kai range, designed by Sean Lavin. Its elongated, pill-shaped wire cage and metal construction give the fitting a contemporary, architectural presence suitable for interior overhead illumination.

The shade is formed from fine vertical metal rods that curve inward at the top and bottom, creating a sense of transparency and lightness. The Kai is offered in Nightshade Black and Plated Brass, allowing you to choose a finish that complements your scheme.

Constructed entirely from metal, the pendant is suspended on a slim, rigid rod which connects to a low-profile circular canopy for a neat ceiling connection. The design emphasises careful metalwork and a disciplined, minimalist silhouette.

An internal light source is integrated into the top section of the cage and is directed downwards; the open-wire design permits light to pass through the sides for a soft ambient glow while delivering more direct light through the bottom opening. The specification includes a high Colour Rendering Index (90) to maintain accurate colour rendition.
