STORY

The Visual Comfort Iveala Wall Sconce, designed by Aerin Lauder for the Iveala range, pairs a circular alabaster shade with hand-rubbed antique brass metalwork. It is conceived as a decorative wall sconce for bedrooms, providing softened ambient illumination suitable for bedside reading or creating atmosphere.

A minimalist, sculptural disk of natural alabaster is mounted on a short cylindrical stem and round wall plate in a Hand‑Rubbed Antique Brass finish. The fitting is offered in Hand‑Rubbed Antique Brass to complement both contemporary and classic interiors.

The shade is carved from natural alabaster while the mounting and decorative cap are metal with a hand-finished antique brass surface. As a natural stone, alabaster exhibits organic veining and subtle colour variation; each piece will therefore be unique.

The light source sits behind the translucent stone so light is emitted directly through the material, producing a warm, diffused glow that reveals the alabaster's veining and reduces harsh shadow. This makes the sconce especially appropriate for gentle bedside illumination and ambient layers of light in a bedroom.

This fitting is rated IP20 and therefore specified for indoor, dry locations; it is not suitable for external use or high-moisture zones. Refer to the technical specification for lamp and driver details and confirm dimming compatibility when required. A one-year manufacturer warranty applies.
