STORY

The Visual Comfort Griffin Tail Sconce by Amber Lewis is a decorative wall sconce from the Griffin range. Its restrained silhouette and mixed-media details bring a refined, tactile accent to interior walls. The piece is designed for interior ambient lighting and is rated for dry indoor zones (IP20).

The design pairs a long, slender vertical metal stem with a short horizontal arm that attaches to a square backplate. A tapered conical off-white linen shade tops the stem and a distinctive elongated 'tail' finishes with a small looped finial. The sconce is offered in two finishes: Bronze and Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass.

Construction combines a metal body with a leather-wrapped section on the stem, the leather showing visible vertical top-stitching as a textural detail. The linen shade provides a soft, tactile surface and the metal finishes are chosen to read as quietly aged and architectural.

The linen shade is designed to diffuse light for gentle, ambient illumination; the elongated lower stem creates a vertical visual accent on a wall rather than focused task light. As an interior decorative sconce it is intended to contribute ambience and balance within layered lighting schemes.

The fixture mounts to the wall via its square backplate; the backplate is the primary mounting point. The product is supplied with a one-year manufacturer warranty.
