STORY

The Visual Comfort Galassia Pendant is a ceiling-mounted pendant by Visual Comfort, designed in collaboration with Aerin Lauder. This Galassia pendant pairs a slender metal teardrop frame with a frosted glass globe to create a contemporary, decorative ceiling light for interior spaces.

The form is defined by an elongated vertical stem that meets a tapering teardrop band; the frosted globe sits at the base of the frame to anchor the silhouette. The metalwork is presented in a brushed brass/gold‑tone finish that emphasises the pendant's clean lines and sculptural presence.

Constructed from metal with a frosted glass globe, the Galassia Pendant combines a slim-profile frame and a circular ceiling canopy with a rigid stem suspension. The slender band and precise joins reflect careful manufacture and a considered decorative intent.

The frosted glass globe diffuses the light source to provide soft, even ambient illumination, making the pendant effective as a focal decorative luminaire. The fixed stem keeps the pendant aligned and suitable for balanced, pared-back ceilings rather than variable-height installations.
