STORY

The Visual Comfort Gaios Cordless Accent Lamp is a 13-inch table lamp designed by Aerin Lauder for the Gaios range. It pairs a reactive crackle-glazed ceramic base with a finely woven linen drum shade to deliver considered, portable accent lighting for indoor spaces.

The lamp’s bulbous ceramic body narrows toward the neck to form a balanced silhouette; the base is finished in Crackled Ivory and is accented by a small brushed-gold hardware detail beneath the shade. The overall palette is soft and monochromatic for quiet integration into interiors.

Made from plaster/ceramic with a reactive glaze, each piece shows unique veining and texture across the surface. The linen shade is designed to diffuse light evenly, while the wide, flat base provides stable placement on tables or shelving.

This cordless lamp is supplied with a rechargeable custom LED light source and a charging cord, making it a flexible accent light without the need for fixed wiring. The drum shade allows gentle top and bottom illumination for balanced ambience. The fitting has an IP20 rating and is intended for indoor, dry locations only.

Supplied ready to use with its rechargeable LED and charging cord, the Gaios lamp carries a one-year warranty. There is no requirement for an external transformer or hard wiring — it is designed for simple table-top placement and easy repositioning.
