STORY

The Visual Comfort Fresno Wall Lantern, designed by Chapman & Myers, is a tall decorative wall light from the Fresno range. Its elongated, architectural silhouette is intended to provide ambient illumination and a strong vertical presence in bedrooms, living rooms and bathrooms.

The lantern is formed as a slim rectangular cuboid with clear glass panels to the front and sides and a solid metal back. The design emphasises clean lines and a 3/4 glazed profile that showcases the internal lamp while keeping the mounting surface discreet.

Construction uses metal and clear glass; the metal is finished in Aged Iron with a slightly textured, matte character. The backplate measures 10.2cm x 54.6cm and the overall fitting is 55.9cm high, 14cm wide and projects 13.3cm from the wall. Weight is 4.5 kg.

The lantern takes a standard E27 keyless socket located at the base of the interior and is shown with a tubular filament-style lamp visible through the glass. The clear panels allow maximum light output, making this fitting suitable for ambient lighting where the bulb is a visible design element.

Technical details include IP44 protection and Class I earthing. Refer to the E27 lamp specification when selecting a bulb; no integrated LED or driver is indicated. A one-year manufacturer warranty is supplied.
