Visual Comfort Figlia Table Lamp, designed by Julie Neill, is a considered table lamp from the Figlia range that pairs a tapered fabric shade with a sculptural glass base. The design references both contemporary materiality and traditional lamp-making to suit interiors that demand calm, purposeful lighting.

The lamp’s form is defined by a thick, solid block of clear glass with a rectangular footprint and rounded edges. Polished vertical curves and subtle concave indentations give the base a gentle hourglass profile that reads as a small sculptural object on desks, bedside tables or sideboards.

Construction uses high-clarity crystalline glass for the base together with gold-toned metallic plates and a gold-toned neck that connects the block to the shade assembly. The weight and mass of the glass provide a stable lamp that sits confidently on furniture.

The white tapered drum fabric shade softens and diffuses the light to deliver even ambient illumination while remaining appropriate for close tasks when placed at desk or bedside. As a table lamp it is intended to provide both ambient and task lighting in residential and hospitality settings.
