STORY

The Visual Comfort Fascio Single Pendant, designed by Lauren Rottet, is a single-light ceiling pendant from the Fascio range. Its measured use of metal and a long solid crystal prism gives the fixture a refined architectural character while delivering downward illumination through a decorative diffuser.

The design uses a persistent hexagonal motif — a hexagonal ceiling canopy and a faceted crystal prism with a hexagonal cross-section. The pendant is available in Bronze, Polished Nickel and Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass; a long, slender stem suspends the prism and shows a visible joint mid-way down the stem, indicating sectional suspension.

Construction combines metal components with a diamond-knurled cylindrical socket housing and a clear solid crystal prism. The crystal’s substantial form refracts light and provides a sense of visual weight, contrasted by the industrial texture of the metalwork.

Light is delivered from a single internal source into the long, faceted crystal that refracts and subtly diffuses the beam for refined downward illumination. The pendant’s form controls glare through the prism and metal socket while emphasising clarity and atmosphere in the lit plane.

Installation is via a flush hexagonal ceiling canopy. The fitting has an IP20 rating.
