STORY

The Visual Comfort Fascio Wall Sconce, designed by Lauren Rottet, is a decorative indoor wall light that references a bundle of reeds through laboratory-style glass rods. The Fascio range combines refined precision with sculptural form, intended for indoor living spaces such as hallways and living rooms; check bathroom zoning against the IP20 rating before bathroom use.

The sconce presents three vertical, transparent glass cylinders arranged in parallel and secured by a central perforated metal band. The symmetry and vertical orientation give a balanced, architectural silhouette and the design is available in Polished Nickel, Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass and Bronze.

Constructed from glass and metal, the fixture mounts to an 11.4cm square backplate that provides a secure wall interface. The textured mesh band acts both as a structural support and a decorative shroud for the light source midpoint, while thin metal caps finish the ends of the inner light elements.

Light is delivered through a dedicated LED rated at 12W producing approximately 1000lm, with the multiple glass rods creating subtle refraction and a layered ambient glow. The fixture is designed to provide ambient illumination rather than focused task light, contributing warmth and atmosphere to a room.

Dimensions are Height 35.6cm, Width 11.4cm, Extension 10.8cm; the backplate is 11.4cm square and the unit weighs 3.2 kg. The fitting is Class I and carries an IP20 rating—suitable for interior locations away from direct moisture.
