STORY

The Visual Comfort Farfalle Pendant Chandelier by Julie Neill is a large, decorative ceiling pendant that reads as a sculptural centrepiece. Made from numerous radiating metal rods populated with delicate butterfly motifs, it combines a classic sputnik form with an organic, layered silhouette.

The design intentionally plays with texture and movement: individual embossed butterfly cutouts create a dense, three‑dimensional surface while the burnished silver‑leaf finish adds a nuanced, hand‑worked sheen. The Farfalle is offered in multiple finishes, including Burnished Silver Leaf and Gild, and is available in Large and Medium sizes to suit different volumes.

Constructed in metal, the fixture suspends from a single rigid downrod that connects to a flat circular canopy for stable ceiling mounting. The detailed metalwork and layered wings give the piece fine-scale texture that is visible from close range and from across a room.

Multiple candle‑style or small‑base light sockets sit within the central cluster to provide multi‑directional illumination. Light reflects from the metallic butterfly wings to produce a subtle shimmering, backlit effect that favours ambient and decorative lighting in bedrooms, living rooms and other interior spaces.
