STORY

The Visual Comfort Esfera Large Chandelier, designed by Kelly Wearstler, is a large-scale interior pendant that interprets the classic wagon-wheel chandelier with a minimalist, architectural approach. Its metal hoop and distributed cylindrical shades are crafted to suit dining rooms, foyers and other expansive spaces where considered ambient light is required.

The fixture is formed around a wide horizontal metal hoop finished in Nightshade Black, with Natural Brass offered as an alternative finish. Cylindrical glass shades are set around the outer perimeter so the silhouetted ring and evenly spaced cylinders create a rhythmic, high-contrast profile.

Construction is metal with glass cylinders and internal white diffusers that conceal the light sources and soften illumination. The slender downrod and low-profile circular canopy are also metal-finished to match the hoop, emphasising the chandelier's pared-back, architectural aesthetic.

Light is delivered around the full 360° horizontal plane thanks to the ring arrangement and the translucent glass cylinders; this provides ambient illumination suitable for general lighting in larger rooms. The fitting is specified with a high colour rendering index (CRI 90) to preserve colour fidelity in interior schemes.

The Esfera uses a single downrod suspension and is designed for fixed-mount installation on a flat ceiling. The fitting is rated IP20 and therefore intended for internal use only. Specifics such as lamps, drivers and dimming compatibility should be confirmed from the technical specification at point of order.
