STORY

The Visual Comfort Esculpa 18" Elongated Wall Light, designed by Kelly Wearstler for the Esculpa range, is a decorative alabaster wall light intended to provide refined ambient or accent illumination in interior spaces.

The design presents a vertical, capsule-like silhouette with a deep, recessed internal cavity that sculpts light and shadow. The Esculpa is offered in alabaster with an Antique-Burnished Brass wallplate option, emphasising its sculptural, gallery-friendly presence.

Crafted from natural alabaster, the fixture shows creamy tones with tan and brown veining; the stone’s translucency and smooth, polished surface allow the material itself to contribute to the light quality. Each unit will show unique veining and subtle colour variation inherent to natural stone.

The light source is concealed at the top of the carved cavity so illumination is directed downwards into the niche while the body emits a soft, diffused glow through the stone. This behaviour makes the fitting ideal for creating warm, balanced accent or ambient light on vertical surfaces.

The Esculpa is a flush-mounted sconce with a rear mounting plate and is rated IP22, intended for indoor use in dry or protected interior zones. Technical details such as lamp type, LED integration and dimming compatibility should be confirmed on the technical sheet or with our team.
