The Visual Comfort Ellery Gros‑Grain Bow Small Sconce, designed in collaboration with Kate Spade, is a decorative wall light that blends classic tailoring with a playful, fashion-inspired motif. It is intended for interior ambient or accent use in living rooms, bedrooms and hallways, where it brings a considered focal point rather than functional task illumination.

The design pairs a tapered white linen-style shade with a sculptural, metal gros‑grain bow mounted on a slender vertical stem above a square mirrored backplate. It is available in three appearance options: Polished Nickel & Linen Shade, Soft Brass & Matt Black Shade, and Soft Brass & Linen Shade, allowing you to choose the finish and shade that complements your scheme.

Constructed in metal with a reflective backplate, the sconce reproduces the folded, ribbed texture of gros‑grain ribbon in cast metal. The fitting measures 34.3cm in height, 12.7cm in width with a 15.9cm extension, and the square backplate is 10.8cm. The unit weighs approximately 1.4kg, reflecting its compact, decorative build.

Light is delivered from an E14 candelabra lamp, positioned beneath the tailored shade so that the diffuser provides a soft, ambient glow while the mirrored backplate increases depth and visual sparkle. The fitting has an IP20 rating (Class I) for interior use and is best specified as an accent or mood layer within a layered lighting scheme.

Installation is by hardwired wall mounting via the square backplate; the product is Class I and requires earthing as part of a compliant installation.
