STORY

The Visual Comfort Dume Arched Floor Lamp, designed by Amber Lewis for Visual Comfort, is a large cantilevered floor lamp that pairs a sculptural S-curve stem with an organic woven shade. It is part of the Dume range and is intended to provide overhead ambient or task lighting when placed behind or beside seating or a desk.

The design emphasises a continuous S-curve metal stem that transitions from a low-profile circular base into a wide overhead arch. The lamp features a downward-facing conical shade; the range is available in Hand‑Rubbed Antique Brass and is offered in two variants.

Construction combines a slim metal stem and flat circular metal base with a natural abaca shade. The abaca is woven or tightly wound around a frame to create a vertical, ribbed texture that contrasts with the warm brass finish of the frame.
