STORY

The Visual Comfort Dessau Floor Lamp is a floor lamp from the Dessau range, designed by Sean Lavin. Its linear, architectural form — a vertical column that bends 90 degrees into a horizontal arm with a triangular light head — references Bauhaus clarity and functional beauty while using metal construction.

The Dessau's form is deliberately minimal and geometric. The lamp is offered in Natural Brass, Nightshade Black and Polished Nickel, and is available in two sizes (Large and Small), so you can choose the scale that suits a living room corner, reading area or office.

Constructed from metal with a smooth matte appearance, the Dessau emphasises clean surfaces and precise details. The flat rectangular base provides stability and the triangular profile of the head gives the range its distinctive silhouette.

The light source is integrated into a recessed panel beneath the triangular head, directing illumination downwards for focused task or reading light while controlling glare. The fitting has a high colour rendering index (CRI 90), supporting accurate colour and a natural ambience in interior schemes.

For installation note: the Dessau is IP20 rated for indoor use and comes with a 1 year manufacturer's warranty. The light source is integrated; check compatibility with your room's controls if you require dimming or specific drivers.
