STORY

The Visual Comfort Dessau 16 Table Lamp by Sean Lavin is a compact, architecturally inspired table lamp from the Dessau range. Drawing on the Bauhaus tradition of form meeting function, this desk lamp is intended for tabletop or desk surfaces and delivers focused task lighting.

Its design is characterised by clean right-angled lines and a cantilevered horizontal arm that meets a slim, recessed head at 90 degrees. The Dessau 16 is offered in Natural Brass and Nightshade Black finishes to suit contemporary interiors.

Constructed in metal, the lamp uses a uniform matte treatment in Nightshade Black and a precise rectangular base that supports the cantilevered arm. The slim head reads as a continuous linear profile, emphasising the range’s architectural intent.

The lamp houses a recessed panel of integrated LED illumination that delivers controlled, downward task light. A small touch sensor sits on the outer tip of the head and operates a three-step dimmer for quick adjustments to ambience and task brightness.

Product notes: IP20 rated for indoor use, supplied in three variants. The Dessau 16 is covered by a 1 years manufacturer warranty and is specified for desk and tabletop tasks rather than wet or outdoor locations.
