STORY

The Visual Comfort Demi Decorative Wall Sconce, designed by Alexa Hampton for the Demi range, is a refined wall-mounted luminaire that pairs metal and fluted glass to deliver considered interior ambience. Its columnar silhouette reads as architectural and decorative, intended for interior ambient lighting.

The design centres on a tall rectangular metal backplate and a clear fluted glass cylinder capped with matching metal bands. The fixture is offered in Polished Nickel and Burnished Brass, giving choices between a cooler or warmer metal aesthetic to suit your scheme.

Constructed from metal and textured glass, the sconce includes a horizontal support arm and a central post that secures the glass shade. The fluted glass and metal bands are deliberate craft cues that create vertical rhythm and visual contrast between industrial metal and delicate glass.

Light is delivered from a single, candelabra-style lamp visible within the lower half of the glass cylinder; the fluted texture refracts the beam and softens glare to create balanced ambient illumination.
